What is a talent?  Generally speaking a talent refers to a special ability someone has.  This meaning of talent developed from the ancient meaning of the word which had to do with weighing, scales and money.  In biblical times, a tenant did not refer to someoneā€™s ability, it referred to a certain weight of gold or silver (the exact weight varied over time and by culture, but it was a large amount,ā€¦
