Christmas 2019

Today the invisible Nature doth unite with mankind from the Virgin.

Today the boundless Essence is wrapped in swaddling clothes in Bethlehem.

Matins – Sunday After Christmas

Dear Folks,

2019 has come and gone like a blur.  Although I’ve been busy with other things, I remain committed to this blog.  Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Christmas 2018

Today Christ is born in Bethlehem of the Virgin.

Today the Beginningless doth begin, and the Word becometh incarnate.

The powers of heaven rejoice, and earth is glad with mankind.

The Magi do offer presents, and the shepherds with wonder declaim.

As for us, we shout ceaselessly, crying,

Glory to God in the highest,

and on earth peace,

good-will towards men.

(John of Damascus)

Christmas 2017

Christ is Born!

Glorify Him!

Today is born of the Virgin him who holdest all creation in the hollow of his hand.

He whose essence is untouchable is wrapped in swaddling clothes as a babe.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
