Angela Doll Carlson is an Orthodox Christian poet, fiction writer and essayist whose work has appeared in or is forthcoming from publications¬†such as Thin Air Magazine, Eastern Iowa Review, Apeiron Review, Relief Journal Magazine, St. Katherine Review, Rock & Sling, Bird’s Thumb Magazine, Ruminate Magazine, Ink & Letters, Typehouse, and Art House America.¬†

Her memoir, ‘Nearly Orthodox: On Being a Modern Woman in an Ancient Tradition‘ (Ancient Faith Publishers) was released July 2014. Her latest book is ‘Garden in the East: The Spiritual Life of the Body’ (available now).

Angela currently lives in Chicago, IL with her husband, David and her 4 outrageously spirited yet remarkably likable children.
