Angela Doll Carlson is an Orthodox Christian poet, fiction writer and essayist whose work has appeared in or is forthcoming from publications such as Thin Air Magazine, Eastern Iowa Review, Apeiron Review, Relief Journal Magazine, St. Katherine Review, Rock & Sling, Bird’s Thumb Magazine, Ruminate Magazine, Ink & Letters, Typehouse, and Art House America.
Her memoir, ‘Nearly Orthodox: On Being a Modern Woman in an Ancient Tradition‘ (Ancient Faith Publishers) was released July 2014. ‘Garden in the East: The Spiritual Life of the Body’ was released in July 2016 and her latest book is The Wilderness Journal: 365 days with the Philokalia.
