Ancient Faith Ministries isn’t only available to you on the radio or in our bookstore. Our wonderful family of content contributors are also invited speakers at events around the country. We hope you’ll join us as we participate in the many opportunities we find in the life of the Church!

Here’s a list of events happening this summer! You’ll see the name of a podcaster, author, or blogger, and the date, title, and location of the events they’ll be leading or attending. Links are included where available, and all of the events listed are opened to the public – that means you! The list is alphabetical by last name. Fr. Andrew Stephen DamickFr. Andrew Stephen Damick will be speaking on “A Renewing Ministry: Orthodox Christian Witness and Ministry in This Secular Age” at St. George Orthodox Church in Kearney, Nebraska on June 6. He will also be speaking at St. Innocent Orthodox Church at Olmstead Falls, Ohio on August 25.

Michael HaldasMichael Haldas is speaking at 10 AM on June 20 at the Orientale Lumen XXII conference at the Washington retreat House. The topic will be his experience of Orthodox and Catholic laity’s general perception of church unity and division. The event is open to the public, but there is a fee.

Bill MarianesBill Marianes will deliver two afternoon programs on a culture of true stewardship and engaged discipleship at the OCA All American Council in St Louis, MO, on July 24 and 25. On August 24-25, he will lead the Orthodox Christian Prison Ministry through a strategic planning retreat in Minneapolis.

Melinda Johnson is an Orthodox Christian, wife, mama, writer, and the author of Letters to Saint Lydia (AFP, 2010), The Other Side of the Bonfire (LSP, 2012), and is hard at work on another book project. Melinda has a Master’s in English Literature because she loved taking literature classes so much she couldn’t stop doing it. When she is not seeing “heaven in a wildflower,” Melinda enjoys writing for children, walking and talking, and knitting. She lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest.
